The lotus flowers in Taoranting Park will gradually enter their full bloom period in late June. The front of the "Wind and Rain Together" monument pavilion, next to the imitated Chuitai Pavilion of Yangzhou's Slender Xihaizi, and in front of the Jinyue Pavilion at the north gate of the Huaxia Mingting Garden, are all great places to appreciate the lotus flowers. When the lotus flowers are in full bloom, the green leaves and exquisite flowers sway, creating a delightful sight. Sitting by the bank, the gentle breeze carries the fresh fragrance of lotus, bringing a sense of tranquility and joy.

Lianhuachi Park, named after the ancient relic Lotus Pond, is known for its lotus planting and cultivation. Its history can be traced back to the Jin Dynasty, more than 800 years ago. On June 13th, twin lotus flowers on one stalk were selected from the lotus base inside the park and placed in the "Variety Lotus Flower Exhibition Area" for public display. The variety of the twin lotus is called "Xiaofeng Liangyue", a large-sized variety with double-layered pale pink petals. Visitors who are interested in seeing this unique flower should not miss this opportunity.

Nanxiaohu (South Small Lake) in Zizhuyuan Park is home to large areas of lotus flowers. One of the park's highlights is the Lotus-viewing Walkway, where visitors can appreciate the lotuses up close while standing on the lakeside railings or on the bridge overlooking the "Emerging Lotus Flowers". "Summer boat rides and lotus flower crossings" are a unique feature of Zizhuyuan Park. The Xihai Wetland Park covers an area of 105,000 square meters, including a water area of 74,000 square meters and a surrounding green area of 35,000 square meters. The whole wetland park integrates the surrounding Huitong Temple and other monuments, becoming a rare natural wetland in the urban area. The lotus area in the Yuanmingyuan Park covers about 1,000 mu (about 165 acres) and boasts around 200 varieties of lotus. "The water chestnut leaves float and the lotus sways in the wind; in the deep waters of the lotus, small boats pass by." During the full bloom of the lotus, visitors can take a boat ride from the Haiyue Kaijin Dock in Changchun Garden to explore the quiet depths of the lotus pond. There, they can see colorful koi swimming and inhale the intoxicating aroma of the lotus blossoms

Beihai Park boasts a long history of lotus planting, and its lotus lake covers an area of about 8,000 square meters. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of fish swimming among lotus leaves and ducks paddling through the clear blue waters while admiring the reflection of the White Dagoba in the lotus blossoms, making Beihai Park a popular summer destination for lotus viewing. At the end of June, the Space lotus and Baiyangdian red lotus in the lotus lake will be in full bloom. The park offers 11 docks with different types of boats to meet the diverse needs of visitors.

Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace was known as the "West Lake" during the Yuan and Ming dynasties. When lotus blossoms were in bloom during the summer, it was considered one of the "Top Ten Scenic Spots of Yanjing West Lake". At the end of June, lotus flowers in various areas of the Summer Palace, such as the Zhitu Scenic Area, Yanshangzhai Scenic Area, the western section of the West Causeway (Xidi), and the Xiequ Garden Scenic Area, will gradually bloom. Strolling along the embankment, one can appreciate the graceful and lovely lotus flowers, which add to the beauty of the scenery.

The lotus pond in Xihaizi Park covers an area of approximately 0.3 acres. When the lotus flowers are in full bloom, the water surface is covered with lush green lotus leaves, and the pond is adorned with blooming lotus flowers. The water droplets roll on the lotus leaves, glistening like glass beads, with a sparkling clarity. In the distance, the reflection of the Randeng Tower in the center of the lotus pond enhances the harmony between natural beauty and cultural landscapes, showcasing the cultural atmosphere of the Grand Canal.

The lotus pond in the Grand Canal Forest Park covers an area of over 500 acres, with more than 30 different varieties of lotus flowers. The main locations for enjoying the lotus flowers are the Vibrant Jungle Area, Yuedao Wenying Area (Moon Island and Nightingale Area), and Yingfeng Qiushi Area (Silver Maple and Autumn Fruit Area). Within the lotus clusters, wooden walkways and waterfront platforms have been specially constructed, allowing visitors to appreciate the lotus flowers up close. With a gentle breeze, the refreshing fragrance of lotus permeates the air.

The lotus flowers in Olympic Forest Park are mainly concentrated in the wetland of the park's southern garden and the Qinghe diversion channel, covering an area of approximately 25,000 square meters. In addition to lotus flowers, the park also cultivates a variety of aquatic plants such as water lilies, reeds, and irises. Combined with features like the Die Shui Hua Tai (cascading water terrace) and Chen Shui Lang Dao (sunken corridors) in the park, it creates a picturesque scene that resembles a beautiful landscape painting.

The lotuses in Yuyuantan Park are mainly distributed in the East and West Cherry Blossom Small Lake, as well as the "Wanping Hexiang" scenic area on the southwest shore of West Lake, covering a total area of 20,000 square meters. There are four varieties of lotuses in the park, mainly the Baiyangdian red lotus and Wufei lotus, with relatively fewer white lotuses and Daziyu lotus. The Daziyu lotus is the only variety with double petals and its flowering period can last until the end of August.
