The Hall of Buddhist Altar is the symbol of the temple and the most main building. Above the main entrance of the hall is a large gold plaque with the three characters " Choose Buddha Field", which is handwritten by Yuan Shikai. Inside the door on the horizontal boat is hung with the gold plaque of "Shu Jing Jin Zhuang" handwritten by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.

Inside is hung with the plaque of "Qing Jie" written by Emperor Kangxi himself. It can be seen that many dynasties attached great importance to the temple. In addition, the 113 gods of the hall are also a rare spectacle. The 133 clay sculptures are of different shapes, some of them are majestic, some have fierce faces, some have armor, and some are immortal. While all of them are lifelike and vivid. This is the only set of statues of the Buddhist altar in Beijing, which is a rare artistic treasure.
