The National Ski Jumping Centre is also well-known as "Snow Ruyi" because of its outer appearance resembling a traditional ruyi sceptre (a Chinese talisman). After the 2022 Winter Games, the centre will be used by the Chinese national team for training and will also serve as a tourist resort.
In Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the National Ski Jumping Centre will host the ski jumping competitiona and ski jumping discipline in the Nordic combined competition.
