As another Beijing 2008 legacy venue, Wukesong Sports Centre once hosted the basketball tournament in 2008, and it later has become a multipurpose arena. With large space, the centre is capable of accommodating around 18,000 viewers.

In Beijing 2022 Winter Games, it will be the main indoor venue for hosting ice hockey along with the National Stadium.
