Situated in the upper stream of Miyun Reservoir, Xianju Valley is a national AAAA-level scenic spot with dense forest, continuous streams, numerous ponds and waterfalls.

Entering the valley, the first scenic spot greeting you will be the Wanhua Lake, which is more than 40 acres and like a transparent dragon embedded in the shade of green hills and forests. Continue going forward and you will see the “Immortal Pond” which is said to be the place where immortals used to have a bath. Built in Song Dynasty, Sanqing Palace has a history of more than 800 years and is the only Taoist temple in the east of Beijing, which flourishes all the time. From the valley to the top of the mountain, various kinds of wild flowers are blooming in different seasons, and the scenery is charming.

Besides the fairyland-like scenery, the wooden houses sitting on brook, the villa hidden in jungle, unique meat pie and fresh vegetables are the secret “weapons” of the Xianju Valley attracting visitors. The scenic area is built with the only wilderness survival camp in the suburbs of Beijing, which trains visitors in various skills of survival and enables you to make good use of nature while understanding it. The scenic area is convenient for accommodation, and specially provides farming family festive feast.
