Zhoukoudian Site Museum is located at the foot of Longgu Mountain, Zhoukoudian, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing. It is an ancient human site museum, which was founded in 1953.

In 1929, Mr Pei Wenzhong, a Chinese paleoanthropologist, unearthed the first complete skull fossil of Peking Man in Longgu Mountain, which shocked the whole world.

It is the World cultural heritage, national AAAA scenic spots, national key cultural relics of protection, and national 100 patriotic education demonstration bases. It is about 48 km away from Beijing urban district. It is a world-famous ancient human and archaeological site in vertebrate paleontology, and the birthplace of the Peking Man. The front of the Preface Hall is a three-dimensional model of Longgu Mountain, and various rock specimens from 400 million years ago to 100 million years ago are placed in the showcase, which reflects the geological change process of the vicissitudes of the artillery area.

By Subway: Take Subway Yanfang Line to Rao Le Fu Station

By Bus: Take Bus No.917 or Bus No.917 (Inter-zone Line) at Liu Li Bridge East Station to Zhou Kou Dian Entrance and walk for 189 meters, then transfer to Bus No. F38 (Inter-zone Line) to Yuan Ren Yi Zhi Bo Wu Guan, and walk for 70 meters.
