Haidian Museum was built in May, 2003, affiliated with Culture and Heritage Commission of Haidian District. It is a newly-built comprehensive museum specializing in local history and integrating acquisition, collection, research and exhibition of cultural relics. It carries forward the culture of the region’s history and strengthens regional cultural exchanges. Haidian Museum is committed to protecting and collecting cultural relics unearthed from the region, at the same time carries out the protection of cultural relics of scientific and academic research. It shows Chinese great history and brilliant culture to public at home and abroad through holding permanent and theme exhibitions. It also introduces the change of history and social development in Haidian District.
