Zizhuyuan Park was built in 1953 and got its name because of “Fuyin Zizhuyuan Park” which is a temple of Ming and Qing dynasties located in the northwest of the park. It was originally a water storage lake. The park covers an area of 45.73 hectares, of which about one-third is water area. Nanchanghe River and Shuangzi Canal go through the garden, forming the basic layout of three lakes, two islands, an embankment, a river and a canal. It is a natural landscape garden using bamboo to make landscape. Since July 1, 2006, Zizhuyuan Park is free of charge and open to the public.
