Xinglong Park is full of lush trees, short grass, fragrant flowers and fluttering birds. It is a serene park where there is a lake which looks like an emerald and on which visitors can row a boat or go fishing. The park covers an area of 678,000 square meters. With good transportation, Xinglong Park has already become an important green highlight of the development in the southeast of Beijing. In spring, the primroses and peach blossoms compete with each other for beauty; in summer, the green meadows and trees decorate one another; in autumn, the tall gingko trees exhibit their golden leaves, some of which have already fallen onto the ground; and in winter, the park is covered with pristine snow, creating a kinds of beauty beyond the description of words.
