At present, in order to effectively prevent the increasing risks of imported COVID-19 cases with the rapid overseas spread of the virus, the Beijing municipal government further strictly controls passengers arriving at Beijing from overseas. Details are as follows:

1. All international passenger flights bound for Beijing will be diverted to the following twelve designated first points of entry: Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Shanghai Pudong, Jinan, Qingdao, Nanjing, Shenyang, Dalian, Zhengzhou and Xi'an. The designated first points of entry for the specific flights operated by airlines can be found on the official website of CAAC and the websites of airlines. Passengers on the international flights shall go through quarantine inspection and customs clearance formalities and claim baggage at the first points of entry. Passengers who passed quarantine inspection can fly to Beijing on the original flight. Customs clearance for belly-held cargo shall be conducted in Beijing.

2. All passengers arriving at Beijing from overseas will be put on 14-day quarantine at centralized quarantine sites and expenses incurred will be paid by themselves. The group that centralized medical observation cannot be well implemented on, including the elderly aged over 70, minors below 14, the pregnant, the puerperant and those suffering from underlying primary diseases, shall stay indoors for home quarantine after a critical assessment. Applications for home quarantine in residences where they live alone and don't live together with other persons are no longer accepted.

3. Passengers who meet the conditions of home-based observation should make an application to the community where they live before entering China. Those who do not apply for home-based observation or whose application fails the assessment before entering China shall be firstly transferred to centralized quarantine sites for medical observation. Passengers arriving at Beijing from other border ports in China shall report to their companies and communities where they live their schedules for arriving at Beijing and relevant information in advance. The management measures on passengers arriving at Beijing from overseas shall be implemented for them when they arrive at communities where they live. Those who have hidden their travels and residence abroad shall be investigated for legal responsibility in line with laws.
