Dazhenyu Village is located at north of Bohai Town in Beijing’s Huairou District. Behind the village is a section of Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty, which is called Dazhenyu Great Wall by local people. Thanks to the inconvenient transportation, the Great Wall was well-preserved as its original landscape.

An inner side of the Great Wall, Dazhenyu Great Wall starts from Shui Pass in Beigou and ends at Moshikou Pass in Xiangshui Lake. The Great Wall is high in the west and low in the east, with the highest point of 986 meters above sea level.
