Multiple major scenic areas in Beijing, including the Palace Museum, National Museum of China, the National Library of China, the National Art Museum of China, Prince Kung's Mansion, Beijing Auto Museum, Laoshe Old Residence, the Ming Tombs, Juyongguan Great Wall, Yinshan Pagoda Forest Scenic Area, Longqing Gorge, Badaling Great Wall, Fenghuangling (Phoenix Hill) Natural Park, Beoijing Zoo etc., will be temporalily closed in an effort to prevent and control a novel coronavirus. 

Other public bookstores such as Xinhua Bookstore, Chinese Bookstore, Beijing Foreign Language Bookstore will also be temporarily closing its doors.  

The date of the venues' reopening will be released at a future time.
