Huanling Road

Huanling Road, the road around the Ming Tombs (Shisanling) Reservoir, is the main circuit that heads to the Ming Tombs, the world cultural heritage and a major national historical and cultural site. It has become one of the most beautiful country roads in Beijing for its unique ancient rhyme and gorgeous scenery. Now it is the arterial traffic that boosts the development of country tourism of Shisanling Town.

Yanshou Round Hill Road

This is the most beautiful road in Yanshou Town. The road is wandering 8.6 km up the hill, spotted with villages of distinctive features on unique landforms, which forms an idyllic landscape of overlapped mountains and rivers unfolding along this road revealing colorful scenes.

Liudaowan of Baiyanggou Valley

“Liudaowan” means the Six Curves as part of the road that heads to Baiyanggou Valley Scenic Area of Liucun Town. The road is winding straight up the hill where you have to be careful no matter you are cycling or driving. Arriving at the top, you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty overlooking the rolling peaks and the valley.

Baili Huanlang in Liucun

Baili Huanlang (Hundred-mile Ring Road) starts and ends at Huandao Island of Liucun Town, snaking in the mountain forest, with many zigzags sometimes accompanied by steep peaks at one roadside and deep cliff at the other side. Travelling along the path will remind you of the long history through dynasties, and you will marvel at the stories once happened here.

Nanhuan Road (Section of Nanhuan Bridge)

Nanhuan Bridge is lying on the Nanhuan Road in the East area of the Satellite City in Changping District, spanning the flood retarding basin of the Dongsha River, with a total length of 750 meters and width of 43 meters. When driving on the bridge under the blue sky or in the bright lights at night, you will at once become enlightened and excited, while walking on it, you also can enjoy the landscapes of Binhe Forest Park under the bridge covered by a plenty of green and luxurious vegetation.

Rotary Island in Changping

Xiguan Rotary Island is a transportation hub to the Ming Tombs, Nankou, Changping District and Beijing-Tibet Expressway, and also known as the Pearl of Changping, because of the ring road and the statue of Li Zicheng (1606-1645), who was the leader of peasants uprising at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
