Place: Multi-functional Theater, National Center for the Performing Arts
Introduction:
This dance performance stars the famous Chinese female dancer Yan He. Inside the performance space, ice bricks are stacked into a ring-shaped "ice city wall." Atop the wall, a crystal clear ring device "rains" with colors changing from transparent, red, yellow to the final blue. Dancers rotate, jump and run in the device. With every step taken, the ice slowly melts and becomes a visualized concept of the elapsing of time.
