2019-03-20

Shunyi district of Beijing opened its first one-stop-shop administrative service hall, which can handle about 1,300 administrative procedures covering over 40 departments. With it, the district aims to optimize business environment and deepen reforms to streamline administrative procedures, delegate powers, and improve regulations and services.

The service hall features three general service areas, serving companies, city management, and public affairs. The three areas are equipped to handle over 1,000 administrative procedures covering over 40 departments, such as industry and commerce, food and medicine, traffic, environmental issues, and civil affairs.

In addition, there are five areas set up to offer services for real estate registration, housing fund, entry and exit, marriage registration, and tax. These facilities are replacing ones that previously were spread out throughout Shunyi district, eliminating the need to run commute between administrative service windows in the district. Self-service facilities are also available at the new service hall.
