Wintersweet Flowers in Snow at Summer Palace

2019-02-13

The Garden of Harmonious Interest, in the northeastern corner of the Summer Palace, is an imitation of gardens in Southern China. Due to its refinement and distinctive style, it’s also called “the Garden of Gardens”.  The Summer Palace, whose predecessor was Qingyi Garden, is the largest and best-preserved royal garden with southern China landscaping features. Perched on the Longevity Hill and by Kunming Lake side, the garden imitated the design of the West Lake in Hangzhou.
