There are still three years to go before the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, but people in China are already gearing up for the event. Thousands of students and teachers from Beijing Sport University will work as volunteers during the next Winter Olympics. A music video released recently by the school shows how they are getting ready for the event.

The students and teachers will work as dedicated groups behind the scenes to ensure the event's success. The music video was released Sunday during a ceremony for the teachers and students serving the 2022 Olympics.

The video also features many Chinese athletes. While busy training for competition, they also do their part to promote the next Winter Olympics.

Zhang Hao, the figure skater, silver medalist winner of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics was featured in the Music Video.

"We don't often sing for our athletes. But we had a good time together during the taping, and we made a good video for the next Winter Olympics." Zhang said.

The music video also stars Wang Liping and Chen Zhong.

Wang is the 20-kilometer Walk Race champion of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.  She said, "I won't compete in the next Winter Olympics, but as an athlete, I think it is my duty to help promote the event. So I am working with other colleagues in works like preaching about the event and recruiting volunteers."

Chen Zhong is also working for the event. "My work is to recruit and train volunteers. We have recruited about 500 volunteers, and the primary work is to let them learn the knowledge about the competitions. Later we will also teach them skating and skiing, to better serve the event," she said.

But it wasn't the first time the school help promoting the games. Twenty-four students from the school were featured in the "Beijing 8-minute show" at the closing ceremony of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
