Wudadao, where to find a romantic winter

Wudadao, as its named implies, refers to an area formed by five streets including Chengdu Street, Chongqing Street, Dali Street, Munan Street and Race Course Road. The most popular view of Wudadao is row upon row of western buildings along streets. They are historical like a peaceful and sweet earthly paradise in the bustling city. Especially in winter, Wudadao becomes more mysterious and quiet. The oldest buildings of Wudadao can be traced back to 1920s or 1930s. Wudadao is a national famous "World Architectural Expo" because it is a gathering place of elegant and highly precious western buildings in different styles of Britain, Italy, Germany and Spain, etc. Some of them are perfection combinations of Chinese and western styles. Until now, "Wudadao" has been a pronoun of Tianjin western buildings.

Doorplate is the only identification of these buildings because there are mainly independent residences in Wudadao. A significant number of former residences of celebrities remind you about the history. It is interesting to visit around and take some photos and you would find Wudadao is a magical place to bring you into peace and kindness and forget all the annoyance and stress. A coach sightseeing is highly recommended that it is the most comfortable way to enjoy a Wudadao visit.

Beautiful views never go without delicacies. There are many restaurants hiding in those small western buildings of Wudadao. Local snacks like Jianbing Guozi and Chinese marrons glaces are standard "configuration"; there are also Cantonese afternoon tea and hot Sichuan delicacies; but if you want to eat some western food for the occasion, be careful to choose because there are restaurants of different tastes and styles of different countries.
