November has been half passed, we can barely hold the tail of autumn although our memory was seemingly frozen at early autumn when it was warm and leaves just started to turn yellow. Winter will soon come to visit, sooner than expected.

Autumn of Yangliuqing Town started from refreshing breezes, elegant migratory birds and morning dew on the grass. Finally it will end with golden leaves, peaceful river and clear sunshine in the streets.

Come to visit the ancient town to see silent buildings dyed golden by leaves and mottled stone walls divided by shadow and sunshine. Secluded lands are so historical like an old book at a dusty corner of a library.

Compared with the biting wind of winter, breeze of autumn can't be more gentle and emotional. Willows on both banks of South Canal are still green. Without being interrupted by wind, the stone bridge can be clearly reflected on water.

Then go to Yangliuqing Square where chrysanthemums are blossoming prosperously, showing no respect to the upcoming winter. They are gorgeous and bright-colored, decorating the streets that should be gloomy and humdrum. They are blossoming prosperously under the blue sky and soft clouds, like a warm fire at a snowy night or a loud and clear folk song. They are probably elves of autumn, bidding farewell to their mother.

At Yangliuqing, only fallen leaves of Chinese parasol trees along streets declare that winter is coming soon. Withered edges of leaves is circled by sunshine and we can really feel season changing when they are falling down with wind. High-spirited lives finally quiet down but not they don't die. They are waiting for the new beginning in the next year.

We have to say goodbye to the beautiful autumn no matter how not willing to. Winter, the new season, is on its way with the biting wind and glittering snow. No need to feel sorry for days have gone because the winter of Yangliuqing Town is beautiful as well as long as you would like to find in the streets or on the square.
