Lingshan Natural Scenic Area is located in northwest of Mentougou in western Beijing. 122km away from the downtown, the scenic area has a peak with an altitude of 2,303m. As the highest peak in Beijing, it is called “the ridge of Beijing”. Lingshan Mountain borders Zhuolu County to the north, Longmen Forest Park to the west, Longmenjian Scenic Area to the east, and 109 National Highway to the south. Because of a special altitude, a natural scenic area had been formed in an area of 25km2 around Lingshan Mountain, integrating fault mountains, folded mountains, peculiar peaks, and lush flowering plants.
