Shuanglong Gorge is located in green mountains and valleys 2.5km south of Huocun Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District. Main scenic spots here include: brooks, waterfalls, a wide stretch of apricot orchard, forests, valleys, and chains of green mountains, and idyllic beauty. Shuanglong Gorge is also billed as “Small Jiuzhaigou Valley in Western Beijing". The scenic area abounds with water resources, including two large waterfalls of more than 29m long, and nearly 100 small waterfalls of less than 10m long. Here, you can explore the forest by taking special forest train through mountains.
