COLLECTING and preserving of old art paintings is one of the many common things Chinese people love to do.

This was part of their long ancient traditions that is kept alive till today.

There are many of such paintings and art kept in small museums all around China but for Beijingers, they visit the Rong Bao Zhai.

A small shop located just outside of the city's main CBD area.

When given a tour to that small shop a week ago, we were able to see different kinds of art work that was made during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.

The small shop has a display of these artwork in three different floors for tourists to visit.

Of the two display floors one is dedicated to working area where the local employees of Rong Bao Zhai get to show visiting guests how they carve art on wood.

The other floors are dedicated to items being sold to guests.
