Water Cube Swimming Club

It is a standard swimming pool with moderate temperature and good quality water and without heavy smell of disinfectant fluid. Lifeguards are properly arranged. The depth in deep water zone is 2 meters and in shallow water zone is 0.8-1.2 meter.

Ying Tung Natatorium

Located in the garden-style Olympic Sports Center, Ying Tung Natatorium was built in 1986 for the 11th Asian Games. This natatorium covers an area of 38,000m2 with a seating capacity of 6,000. It features unique architectural style, advanced equipment and ancillary facilities, and cozy environment. With cutting-edge treatment system, swimming pool water is disinfected in chlorine and ozone, and filtered through multiple layers and levels by using natural quartz sand and sea sand, promising that the water quality is in line with international water standards for professional competitions. This natatorium serves as a venue for water polo and swimming (one event of modern pentathlon) competitions during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. It’s a large natatorium with strong air circulation. You can bring your own bath towel if you are afraid of the cold. Public slippers are not provided in the natatorium. But you are allowed to walk with bare feet. Swimming card (health certificate) is required when entering into the natatorium, and deepwater certificate is required to enter into the deepwater area. (The health certificate is to take your blood pressure, and the deepwater certificate is to swim 200 meters and to trend water for 30 seconds with your hands over your head. They can be applied respectively in the natatorium office and the swimming pool. Each of them requires a one-size photo and supports instant delivery.)

Haidian Stadium Swimming Pool

Haidian Stadium Swimming Pool is nestled in Zhongguancun of Haidian District, within arm's reach to renowned universities like Tsinghua University, Peking University and Renmin University of China. After being open to the public, it has received unanimous acclaim from citizens, by virtue of reasonable price, numerous leisure activities, elegant indoor environment and hospitable services. The swimming pool is divided into the deep water zone as well as the shallow water zone. The length of both is 25 meters. The water depth in the shallow water zone is 1.3-1.5 meter. The water is very cold and pretty limpid. It remains the style of state-run old swimming pool. It’s kind of nerve-racking that sometimes you might encounter the elders exercise in group. Their group competition would occupy the swimming lanes.

Dongdan Swimming Gymnasium

The water is maintained clean and limpid all the time. The dressing room is humble but very clean. The bath room is equipped with inductive shower head. The overall feeling is pretty good. Depth of shallow water area ranges from 1.1m to 1.4m, while that of deep water area is between 1.6m and 2.0m.
