Being the largest zoo of mountain wildlife in China, Beijing Badaling Wildlife World lies at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall with an area of about 6,000mu. It is built on a hillside adjacent to the Badaling Expressway and enjoys a 40 minutes of drive from the downtown of Beijing. Boasting around 10,000 heads of wildlife in more than 100 genera, the Wildlife World is an ecological tourist park integrating animal watching, salvation and breeding, leisure and vacationing, popular science education and environmental protection.

It is a yearning destination in many self-driving tours. In its wild beasts watching area and docile animals watching area, visitors can view tigers, lions and other feral animals in a close distance by the tourist car, and feed docile and gentle animals like monkeys, elephants, giraffes and zebras.
