At local time on March 23-25, Singapore Travel Fair 2018 hosted by National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) was held at Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Center. Representatives of official tourism organizations or agencies, airlines, travel agencies, cruises, banks and other tourism enterprises from more than 60 countries and regions participated the event.

In order to give Singapore’s tourism industry and Southeast Asia tourists about a deeper understanding of World Heritage tourism resources of China, and showcase a “Beautiful China” and a “Charming Beijing”, Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, as the initiator of China World Heritage Tourism Promotion Alliance (CWHTPA), has invited six member institutions for joint promotion, including Shandong, Guizhou, Hubei, Henan and Sichuan Provinces.

During the activity, efforts have been made to showcase and hand out the relevant publicity materials of World Heritage tourism resources of China and Beijing tourism, including the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, the Ming Tombs, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and the Zhoukoudian site, showcasing the cultural richness of Beijing as an ancient capital, as well as the modernity of the international metropolis.

At the site, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development has talked with many local tour wholesalers which are inclined to join in “Global Distribution Partnership Program of Beijing Tourism (GDP Program)”, and made great efforts to expand overseas marketing channels for Beijing tourism, to establish partnership, and shape a global tourism destination.
