Cherry Blossoms in Yuyuantan Park

Yuyuantan Park, an AAAA tourist attraction in Haidian District, was named in 1960. As of 2015, the park was planned with a total area of 136.69 hectares, 1,820m from east to west and 1,106m from north to south, with 61 hectares of water area and 74.44 hectares of parkland (including lawn area), greenery coverage above 95% and more than 199,500 plants of various species.

The western Cherry Blossom Garden, Yinshui Lake Scenic Area in the north (partially built), Zhongshan Isle in the south and the eastern Liuchun (Keeping Spring) Garden are the main scenic spots. Every spring, the Cherry Blossom Festival is hold in the park.
