As the most eminent one of the eight temple fairs in Beijing, Changdian Temple Fair, which inherits national culture, is filled with the strongest folk culture atmosphere among all the Beijing's temple fairs.

Changdian Temple Fair, popular during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, is now known far and wide. It ranks first among China’s "Four Greatest Temple Fairs" and is also the largest, most influential and prestigious temple fairs among the eight temple fairs in Beijing. Changdian Temple Fair now is moved to Liulichang. Its enclosed folk custom district mainly presents the fantastic "folk acrobatics". The eastern and western Liulichang, the original destination of Changdian Temple Fair, now serves as an expansion area for the fair, which is mainly responsible for organizing the artistry exhibition of time-honored brands.
