It is the only large reed wetland in Beijing’s plain area. In late autumn, Health Bridge Wetland boasts rolling reed waves, undisturbed and undeveloped. Boys could enjoy the sea of reed catkins with their girlfriends as described in poems.

The wetland is distinctive for its “wildness” without many artificial attractions. The harmonious and lively scroll of wild ducks foraging in the water is fresh and joyful. The flavorful homemade dishes in the park are another natural pleasure this wetland provides for visitors.

Bus: take Bus 918 at Dongzhimen and get off at Yangzhen Sanjie Stop; then take a taxi to the wetland;

Self-guided route: Sanyuan Bridge--Airport Expressway--southern line of Airport Expressway--Beijing-Pinggu Expressway--Muyanlu Exit, and then drive towards Beiwu Town for 8 kilograms;
