Palace Museum on Xiaoxue Solar Term

2017-11-22

Wednesday marked Xiaoxue, or light snow, the 20th solar term of China's traditional lunar calendar, signals some areas along the Yellow River start to snow.

It’s usually light snow, freezing in the night and melting in the morning. The soil is not cold enough, and snow can’t accumulate a lot on the ground.

The Palace Museum still enjoys breathtaking sceneries of late autumn at this time.
