The Beijing Botanical Garden

Dense vegetation represented by varieties like ginkgo, sophora japonica 'winter gold’ and maple trees on both sides of the red road next to North Lake of the Beijing Botanical Garden. In autumn, this road is paved with various colored leaves. The 1,000 -meter-long red road runs along Cao Xueqin’s Memorial, North Lake and the east section of trees area.

Mangshan Park

With the forest coverage of 96.5%, Mangshan Park is home to various trees with red leaves, like cotinus coggygria atropurpureus, acer mono maxim and rhus typhina. The path from Jiankang Forest to Xiaotianchi at the foot of the mountainous park is decorated by red leaves and thus becomes an excellent place for photography. At this time, a red leave festival is in full swing in the park where visitors can make their own bookmarks with red leaves as well as enjoy themselves in delicacy parties and flea markets.
