Thematic Activities Arrangement:

1. “Touching Beijing with the Disabled” Public Welfare Activity

Tourism items for disabled people will be listed as a significant part of the festival this year raise awareness. The representatives of the city’s disabled will be invited to watch performances and experience barrier-free facilities at Shunyi International Flower Port on October 1. Besides, an exhibition of disabled artists’ painting and calligraphy will run through Oct 1-3 at Shunyin International Flower Port as well.

2.“Making Your Itinerary in Beijing” Beijing Tourism Information Desk

As a classic part of the Beijing International Tourism Festival, the Information Desk will continue to offer practical advice and suggestion on Beijing Tourism for tourists. Differently, more companies, such as Time-honored brands and Beijing Gift, will join in and help tourists plan itinerary.

3.  “Voting for Your Favorite Scenery in Beijing”

An online voting activity has been launched for all people who love Beijing. Three lucky fellows will win USD 1,000 travel fund for a tour in Beijing. The voting page is available on the official website of VisitBeijing and Facebook Account @BeijingVisit. For tourists from abroad, featured tourism items like Chinese Traditional Medicine tour and study tour will be launched for in-depth experience.

4.“Biking through Wonderful Beijing” International Tourism Promotion

Deftly combined online promotion and offline activity, the festival will invite famous web stars, abroad students and young abroad tourists to bike through Beijing. People can witness the whole tour via live streaming platform. Excellent videos and pictures will be showed on VisitBeijing and social media after the tour.
