2017 Half Marathon Competition in Bird’s Nest will be held on November 19. Over 7,000 people enrolled the Competition within 15 minutes

The news conference hosted on September 13 introduced the latest condition of the competition. The competition has become an effective marathon event for its excellent service and unique route since it was firstly hosted in 2015. In this year, to ensure more people could take part, the amount of runners goes on 13 thousand from 8 thousand. At same time, parent-child fun run is added.

The venue of the competition, Bird’s Nest, is the highlight. The route this year will run through the stadium. The application will last through September 20 from September 13. Host will draw lots for turns and launch the result in mid October.

The time of the event this year is later compared to the pass competitions. Some participators may be worry about the cold weather is detrimental to runners. The host explained that the service will be upgraded to guarantee the runners safety.

The competition is cooperated by Chinese Athletic Association, National Stadium Co., Ltd and Beijing Beiao Group Co., Ltd and organized by Beijing Inter Sports Co., Ltd.
