Beijing Planetarium will launch a series of special offers in September in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the museum.

The price of the ticket will go down to 5 RMB from 10 RMB while the price of the theater ticket, which currently ranges from 30 RMB to 45 RMB, will decrease to 20 RMB.

Excellent movies will be on show as well. 14 movies showed during the 5th Beijing International Film Festival will screen in September whose themes cover ocean, galaxy, dinosaur and aviation.

The Mass Observatory will open to public free in charge once a week in September. Visitors can view planets via a professional observatory. Besides, many astronomy experts will be invited to hold lectures.

The museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday
