ArtistSHAN Chong

SHAN Chong is a Chinese first-level actress of China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater and a renowned dance performing artist. She is also a member of the CPPCC National Committee, Vice-Chairwoman of Chinese Dancers Association, a member of China Theatre Association and a director of China Literary and Art Volunteers’ Association, enjoying the special government allowance of the State Council. She graduated from the Department of Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, Beijing Dance Academy in 1991. She ever won the Plum Performance Award of the 15th China Theatre Contest, the 9th and 12th Wenhua Performance Award, the Gold Award for Performance at the First National “Lotus Cup” Dance Contest, the Best Actress Award of the 2nd “Lotus Cup” Dance Drama and Poetry Contest, the Best Leading Player Award of the 2nd China Dance Festival & 5th “Lotus Cup” Dance Drama and Poetry Contest, the Gold Award for Performance and the Most Popular Actor Award of the First CCTV National Dance Contest and the Award for Special Artistic Achievements at the First International Delphic Games.

HU Yang

HU Yang is a major dancer of China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater, graduating from the Department of Chinese Classical Dance, Beijing Dance Academy. He won the Silver Award in juniors’ group B of the 8th National “Peach and Plum Cup” Dance Competition and the Gold Award in youth group of the 10th National “Peach and Plum Cup” Dance Competition. In 2013, he became the winner of the Excellent Performance Award of the Collective Show of Excellent Plays sponsored by the Ministry of Culture for his starring in the dance drama Confucius.
