Sitting at the southern foot of Yunmeng Mountain, about 75 kilometers away from the urban area of Beijing, Yougushentan Natural Scenic Area is a comprehensive tourist attraction centered on tourism, stone carving art, catering and accommodation.

It is famous among suburb and urban Beijingers with many natural sceneries, especially the Shentan (Pond of God) and Feipu (Flying Waterfall). The stone carving area displays a great amount of artworks with different themes, which shows the eternal charm of the Chinese stone carving art. On the other side of the pool, there is a stone stairway leading to the top of the mountain. Climbing onto the top of the mountain, one may find yet another mountain, with a heavenly atmosphere.

The service facilities are located at the residential area of the zone. There are comfortable guest rooms, log cabins where one may enjoy roasted games and fishing. In addition to sightseeing, visitors can also enjoy a variety of farm food. Rainbow trout, the special food of the valley, is the recommendation on the menu.
