The Tian’anmen Square and Tian’anmen’s gate tower are divided by the Chang’an Street. Tian’anmen Square, located in the heart of the capital, is the largest city central square in the world. Tian’anmen East Station - The Forbidden City

The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace of 24 emperors from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. The unparalleled masterpiece built in the ancient times is now the largest collection of well-preserved ancient wooden structures in the world. The entire palace is built with wooden structures, yellow colored glaze paved as roofs and classy green-colored marble. Together with the resplendent and magnificent colored paintings as decorations inside, it is reputed as one of five palaces in the world. The large yards and well-organized buildings make the whole complex very natural and harmonious.
