Beitucheng Station - The Bird’s Nest

The Bird’s Nest, or the National Stadium, is located at the south of the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. As the main stadium of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, it is the place where held the 2008 Olympic Games, the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony of the 2008 Paralympic Games, and the finals of track and field and soccer ball. When the Olympic Games concluded, the Bird’s Nest later became a large and specialized venue for Beijing citizens to participate in sports activities and enjoy the happiness of sports.

Beitucheng Station - The Water Cube

The Water Cube, which is also located at the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, is one of the landmark buildings of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games. During the Games, the Beijing National Aquatics Center was responsible for events including swimming, diving and synchronized swimming. After the Olympic Games, the center can not only host various major water-related competitions and other regular events, but also serve as a multipurpose international-level center that is integrated with swimming, sports, workout and leisure activities, providing favorable conditions for citizens to build up their bodies.

Beitucheng Station - Chinese Ethnic Culture Park

Chinese Ethnic Culture Park is located at the west of Beijing National Olympic Park. It is launched by Mr. Lei Xuejin and commenced in 1992. The very first large ethnic cultural base in the city aiming at displaying the ethnic cultureand traditions, strengthening the ethnic awareness of the Chinese nationals and promoting the understanding of teenagers for the ethnic culture. In the meantime, it also commits itself to providing all ethnic groups with a permanent window in Beijing facing the entire country and the whole world.
