Visitors now don't have to go to Luo Yang, which was one of the four greatest capitals in ancient China to enjoy peony. They can enjoy the “king of flower” in Huairou, the suburb of Beijing.

The peony garden in Qiaozi town, Huairou District of Beijing, is the largest single-part area and the longest age of peony in Asia. More than one million peonies in the garden have come into flourishing term. There are 1,000 one hundred years old precious peonies and nearly 600 varieties, covering the four major peony groups and nine colors.

The garden will hold Peony Cultural Festival and Music Festival on April 28. The festival will cover seven parts such as culture, health, sports and education, including peony auction claims, flower arrangement experience, photography and painting. Visitors can also watch nearly a hundred "Peony Fairy" performances, including Yin Xiuping and Sa Dingding.
