Chinese version of Turandot begins its ninth season

Created by the National Center for the Performing Arts in 2008, the Chinese version of Puccini Giacomao's Turandot launched its ninth performance season in Beijing on Wednesday.

Since its first hitting the stage, the opera has been put on eight times and adapted into an opera film.
