Beijing Memorial Hall of New Cultural Movement is located on Wusi Street, Dongcheng District. Its original location is the red building of Peking University. The red building is the battalion for China's New Cultural Movement, and also the cradle for May 4th Movement in 1919. The memorial hall is now the public institution belongs to National Museum where sets up of office and business department.

Beijing Memorial Hall of New Cultural Movement is founded on the red building. As the cradle of the New Culture Movement and the May 4th Movement, it was the first batch of Key National Historical and Cultural Sites in 1961. In 2002, it was listed as Patriotism Education Base of Beijing as well as Key National Red Tourism Scenic Spot. Through displays, recovered scenes, journals, videos, it exhibits the history of New Cultural Movement in an all-round way.
