Yuzishan Village was originally the site of ordnance repair institute of 18 military region, eastern Hebei military region during the Period of Anti-Japanese War. In October 2000, Yuzishan Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was named “Beijing Patriotic Education Base” and “National Defense Education Base” by People's Government of Beijing Municipality and National Defense Education Office. On July 12, 2001, Yuzishan historic sites of the War of Resistance was listed as the sixth batch of Municipality Protected Historic Site.

Covering an area of 400 square meters, the museum displays nearly hundred pieces of more than 200 precious historical pictures based on the background of Anti-Japanese War, in terms of the history of the Anti-Japanese War. In addition, it shows the inscription of Jiao Ruoyu, the border region's leading comrade, and Li Yunchang, the original military commander.
