Located in Mentougou District, Miaofengshan Mountain is about 55 km from the center of Beijing. This area is known for its ancient temple, strange pine trees, jagged rocks and roses. The main peak of the mountain is 1,291 meters high and it is the highest peak in Xishan Mountains. With forests coverage more than 90% of the mountain, Miaofeng Mountain has different characteristics in different seasons.

In autumn, as the temperature varies greatly between day and night, forest on Miaofeng stars turn to colorful.
