Along the lawns and riverbanks of Sanlihe Park, a lively spring fair buzzes with a down-to-earth vibe and a futuristic twist. More than thirty stalls line the water, offering everything from handmade heritage crafts and creative souvenirs to food and drinks — something for everyone, from the traditional to the trendy.
In the mixed reality zone, visitors can put on a headset and instantly step into a virtual traditional study. You can pick up a virtual brush to practice calligraphy, or freely grab 3D artifact models from an antique shelf. The five-minute experience blends calligraphy, the evolution of Chinese characters, and cultural relic appreciation — adding a touch of tech and cultural depth to the fair.
The Sanlihe Spring Blossom Fair runs daily from 10 am to 5 pm through May 5. Admission is free (some activities require a fee).
