Yahua Valley Wild Plant Conservation Area

Clematis acerifolia, known as the "Cliff Elf", blooms until the end of April. As a national second-class protected wild plant, it forms the "Three Wonders of the Cliff" alongside Oresitrophe rupifraga and Corydalis fangshanensis.

Located in Da'anshan, Fangshan, Yahua Valley Wild Plant Conservation Area is one of Beijing's key sites for viewing clematis acerifolia and a major concentrated habitat of the species in Beijing.

Pofengling Scenic Area, Youlan Shan (Mountain)
In late April, Pofengling in Youlan Shan (Mountain), Fangshan, is covered in a sea of pinkish-purple smoke tree blossoms.

Stroll along the core flower path and capture photos of century-old smoke trees standing amid the blooms. Climb to the mid-mountain viewing platform for a sweeping panorama of the entire flower sea.
