Flowering period: April – May

In Beijing, May brings the gentle breath of early summer. Roses bloom quietly along courtyard walls, railings and streets, with branches hanging down like waterfalls. Fresh and elegant, they create quiet and refined scenery all over the city. In the Olympic Forest Park, long flower walls grow along the rails, accompanied by blooming flowers all the way. Strolling in Beiluogu Xiang (Alley), ancient blue bricks and grey tiles exude simplicity and leisure. You can meet large rose walls around the corner, with red, yellow and purple flowers looking exquisite and charming against green leaves, adding unique early summer scenery to the old street.
