Beihai Park

Yuanmingyuan Ruins Park

In early spring, Yuanmingyuan comes back to life. Winter jasmine blooms quietly along paths and lakesides, clusters of golden flowers swaying in the breeze. The wide, open garden features rippling water and gently hanging branches. Although modest, winter jasmine brightens the whole park, spreading spring quietly. From late March to early May, the western flower-viewing area will welcome peach blossoms, lilacs, apricots, peonies, and violets.

In early spring, winter jasmine blooms in large patches across Taoranting Park. Golden flowers spread layer upon layer along branches, complementing pavilions and terraces. Forsythia will also bloom from the East Gate green space to Dabei Mountain, forming a golden scene.

The park is quiet for comfortable viewing, followed by pagoda trees, peach blossoms, and plum blossoms later.
