The "Nian" is a complete spatio-temporal process. From Laba to Lantern Festival, each stage is imbued with specific rituals and meanings, and it holds a deep emotional connection with every Chinese person. It forges the nation’s collective memory, ethical emotions, and time philosophy. Through a series of established practices, people construct the spatio-temporal and emotional framework of the "Nian", including various ideals and visions for life, which are concentratedly displayed at this time and gradually condense into a series of auspicious sayings, patterns, and symbols. They permeate daily life—tangible, perceptible, and edible, interpreting our unremitting pursuit of harmony, completeness, and happiness.
