Hosted at the National Art Museum of China, this exhibition is part of its academic series for arts and crafts. It features nearly 50 cloisonné works by masters Qian Meihua and her apprentice Zhong Liansheng, showcasing the development of new China's cloisonné art.

A top "Eight Great Handicrafts of Yanjing", cloisonné was rescued by Qian under Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin's advocacy. She innovated patterns, colors and techniques. Zhong, inheriting her craft, blends tradition with modern minimalist design. Their works reflect the craft's transformation from court art to a national cultural symbol, embodying Chinese artisans' ingenuity and cultural confidence.
