This year, the Beijing Music Festival introduces for the first time the "Travel with Music" cultural-tourism-sports integration initiative. During the festival, innovative "music-plus" multi-scene experiences will be created to enrich urban consumption.
First, the festival will promote "Citywide Music+". Events such as "Jingcai Outdoor Concerts (京彩户外音乐会)," "Salzburg Festival," and "Grand Canal Music Festival" will be held simultaneously, fostering a citywide musical atmosphere.
Second, "Music + Commerce" will see over 600 merchants in popular business districts like Wangfujing, Solana, Sanlitun, INDIGO, and The Box offering discounts to festival ticket holders. "Beijing gifts" stores will provide ticket-based promotions, and 2 million tourism consumption vouchers will be distributed. In collaboration with the innovative symphonic work Chinese Kitchen, more than 500 dining outlets from brands such as Quanjude will launch themed menus, limited-edition merchandise, and exclusive discounts. The festival's "exclusive online music partner," QQ Music, will promote dedicated festival activities.
Third, "Music + Tourism" will feature 10 music-themed tour routes. Ticket holders can enjoy discounts on sightseeing buses operated by Beijing Public Transport. Twenty-one hotels, including the Grand Hyatt Beijing and the Regent Beijing, will offer room rate discounts, dining deals, and special packages for ticket holders. Some hotels will introduce "music festival-themed rooms" and limited afternoon tea sets. DiDi will provide exclusive ride-hailing coupon packs and other travel benefits.
Fourth, "Music + Sports" will see the festival collaborate with the China Open tennis tournament to launch exclusive "Music Festival + China Open" combo tickets.
The 28th Beijing Music Festival brings together world classics and contemporary works, connecting tradition and the future, the local and the global through international, high-quality music performances. Through the medium of music, it will showcase Beijing's open, inclusive, and innovative urban character, interpreting the unique charm of the "Capital of Performances."
