3. Baishuisi Forest Park

Located in the heart of Fangshan, Baishuisi Forest Park is named after Baishuisi Temple, with the Baishui Shan (Mountain) Stream flowing in front of the temple. The temple is home to three massive stone Buddha statues, which is why it is also colloquially known as the "Big Buddha Temple."

The origin of Baishuisi Temple is unclear, but only the stone pavilion, stone Buddha, and stone pagoda remain today. The current Baishuisi Forest Park is already well-developed, offering a unique landscape with rolling mountains, deep valleys, towering rocks, and clear streams.

4. Fangshan Red Scarf Park

The park features a wetland area with the famous Fangshan Dashihe River flowing through it. Originally, this place was overrun with rocks and weeds, and litter was scattered everywhere, but after some restoration, it has transformed into its present form. The riverbanks are covered with grassy areas resembling a green carpet, and the river itself is abundant with aquatic plants.

A wooden corridor bridge adds some artificial beauty to the park. Across from it, amidst a flower bed, a six-sided pavilion with upturned eaves provides a comfortable resting spot for visitors. 5. Changgou Wetland Park

The wetland in this park is fed by spring water from the Taihang Mountain area of the Haihe River Basin. The park features a variety of wetland types, including freshwater springs, permanent rivers, permanent freshwater lakes, herbaceous marshes, ponds, and rice fields.

The wetland park is formed by the confluence of Ganqi Spring water, with water quality meeting national drinking water standards. The Ganqi Spring has over 10,000 spring outlets, continuously flowing year-round. The water temperature remains constant at 16°C, and the annual water flow reaches nearly 20 million cubic meters. It is a national wetland park that combines the protection of freshwater resources, wetland ecosystem restoration, science education, and leisure sightseeing.
